On behalf of the Council of National Communities of Ukraine, allow me to extend our deepest thanks to both the European Union for invaluable efforts in bolstering global stability and prosperity in Ukraine. The Council of National Communities of Ukraine, an association representing diverse ethnic groups within Ukraine, wholeheartedly backs Ukraine’s strategic path towards European integration. Ukraine remains steadfast in its efforts to safeguard the rights and liberties of various national communities. We hold the belief that close integration with the EU will advance democratic progress in areas concerning human rights, legal principles, humanitarian strategies, and international diplomacy. The Joint Statement of Representatives of National Minority Organizations in Ukraine in Support of Ukraine’s European Integration Course, which is signed by 27 representatives of national communities in Ukraine, is something we would like to share with you in this regard. We come together to show our support for the nation en route to the European Union despite the diversity of our cultures, religions, and ethnicities. In these challenging times, Ukrainian society has become more united and solidified around shared objectives focused on winning the war and advancing Ukraine’s growth as a highly developed democratic European state where discriminatory manifestations have no place.
